All personnel that has the potential of interacting with students are required to attend Virtus training. All faculty, staff. and coaches must attend VIRTUS or an approved abuse prevention program. This is a one-time session but you will be required to maintain training by completing periodic coursework through the VIRTUS system.

• Click the "First-time registrant" button on the left-hand side to create an account, or log in with your user ID and password if you previously created an account.

• Select "Cleveland, OH (Diocese)" in the drop-down menu.

• *NOTE: Assistant coaches who are 16 & 17 years old are not required to completed VIRTUS

Coaches Development Program

A comprehensive list of CYO Coaching requirements can be found here. The program is offered throughout the year in both the Cleveland and Akron areas and is a one-time requirement (although recertification may be required depending on your sport). Once a coach completes the program, they will be issued a coaching card and lanyard. Every coach on the coaching staff must wear their credentials to every contest.
